EDMODO ^_^

                      Edmodo is a personal microblogging platform that is developed for teachers and students, prioritizing students' privacy. Teachers and students can share notes, links, and documents. The teacher also has the ability to send something in a time frame that can be seen publicly.
           Edmodo has several functions, among others, to facilitate communication between students and students or teachers with teachers/lecturers, as a means of learning/discussion communication, as a place for quizzes, and so on.



     Edmodo is designed to make students/students eager to learn in a more familiar environment. In Edmodo, the teacher/lecturer can continue online class discussions, giving polls to check the understanding of students/students individually based on performance or behavior. Edmodo makes it easy to track student/student progress. All learning values ​​and plans are assigned through Edmodo and stored and easily accessed. Teachers / lecturers can get input from the classroom through the reaction of students / students to quizzes, assignments, and posting discussions that capture students' understanding, confusion, or frustration.

Have you ever used it in your learning process?

If not, I'll share a little information about Schoology.

            Schoology is a special web-based social network focused on collaboration, to enable users to create, manage and interact with each other and share academic content. Schoology also provides access to teachers and students for attendance, assignment of assignments, practice exercises and media learning resources that can be accessed anytime and anywhere and also provide access for parents to monitor the development of student learning at school. (Farmington, Schoology 2014).
                  Nowadays, Schoology is one of the E-Learning media that is increasingly popular among teachers and students. Schoology is a site that combines social networking and LMS. So with Schoology, we can interact socially while learning. The features of Schoology are as follows:

  1. Courses (Course), which is a facility to make classes for subjects, such as Mathematics, Physics, and so on. These Courses facilities are also in Moodle
  2. Groups (Groups), namely facilities for making groups. This facility is also on Moodle and on Facebook.
  3. Resources (Learning Resources)

Kahoot!

I'm back! 

           Kahoot is a website on the internet that can bring a festive and fun quiz atmosphere to the class. By playing Kahoot this learning becomes very fun and makes students not bored following the learning process. However, using Kahoot really needs an internet connection, that's the main requirement. Because quizzes or questions that are available and made using Kahoot can only be played online. So there is an exclamation and there is no good because it is because if you don't have an internet connection you can't just watch it. But there is also the excess, which is very interesting, this quiz can not only be run on a PC, but it can be done with a smartphone, even with the same conditions, internet or online. Kahoot is divided into two, namely for participants and for the admin.
            Kahoot has 4 features: games, quizzes, discussions, and surveys. For games, we can make a type of question, and determine the most appropriate answer and the time used to answer the question. Uniquely, the answers will later be represented by images and colors. Participants are asked to choose a color/image that represents the answer.

Now, I'll share the information about the other software that you can use to create quizzes, that is QuizFaber


QuizFaber is a freeware software for Windows that enables you to create multimedia quizzes as HTML documents.The QuizFaber software can be downloaded from the site http://www.lucagalli.net. This software is freeware, where the use of this software is free (if for non-commercial purposes), but users cannot get the source code of the software. We can install this software in our PC.

Quiz Faber's features include:

  1. Make various types of questions including multiple choice, questions with many answers, correct questions, questions with open answers, questions about matchmaking and the matter of gap filling.
  2. It has options for background customization, color, sound and font type. Quiz results can be stored online via email or cloud storage like Google drive.
  3. It is possible to integrate images, sounds, videos into the problem. Available tools for managing repetition of questions based on certain values, scrambling questions, and question security.
  4. There is a feature to combine questions created with Quiz Faber with other software.

Skype is a communication program with P2P (peer to peer) technology. With Skype, we communicate with people between countries around the world. Most people use Skype to make free videos and one-on-one voice, and call groups, send instant messages and share files with others on Skype. We can use Skype via a handphone, computer or tablet.
In education, Skype can be used as a learning medium. For example, we can hold online learning with Skype. Students can exchange information and discuss via Skype without constraints on distance.

        Youtube was established in February 2005. Youtube headquarters is in San Bruno, California, the United States, which was initiated by three Youtube founders, namely Chad Hurley, Steven Chen, and Jawed Karim. 
YouTube is a website that facilitates users to share videos that they have or limited to enjoying various video clips uploaded by various parties. There are various kinds of videos that can be uploaded to this site, such as music video clips from certain musicians, short films, television movies, movie trailers, educational videos, vlogger video blogs, various video tutorials, and many more. In this digital era, there are a lot of technology-based learning media like YouTube. We can use 
YouTube to find references to the material to be taught. With YouTube, the learning process becomes more interesting and not monotonous. Because on YouTube there are lots of learning videos that we can access.

Quiz : Kahoot!



                    Kahoot is an internet-based software in the form of a game. Kahoot can be used in the teaching and learning process. teachers can make a quiz using Kahoot. With Kahoot, teachers can make the learning process become more interesting and interactive. And the students can learn while playing, so they not easy to get bored.
