Vlog : Learning Speaking

           Vlog comes from two words namely 'video' and 'blog'. Video is a technology for capturing, recording, processing, transmitting and rearranging moving images. Blogs are online personal records that are frequently updated and distributed to the general public. Well, then what is a Vlog? So, Vlogs are personal records in the form of videos that are updated and distributed in general. More complete, Vlog is a form of blogging activity using video medium over its main media source, namely the use of text or audio.

            Vlog appeared in 2000. Based on Wikipedia, the first time Vlog activity came after Adam Kontras posted a video with his blog entry. After that many people were imitating. In 2005, people who made Vlog increased. Even in that year, the YouTube site appeared which became the platform for people to upload any video including Vlogging.

            Nowadays, Vlogger, name of people who make a vlog, is increasingly mushrooming, increasingly spreading like a virus. Not only among ordinary people who make vlogs, but there are also many artists who make vlogs. Vlogging is a very popular activity in modern times. Therefore, this activity can be used in education also. We can ask students to make a vlog. For example, we can instruct students to create a short vlog use full English. Thus it is expected to train students to be confident in speaking.

This is a vlog that my group has made. This vlog is about the description of one of the faculties on our campus. Hopefully, you enjoy it. Thank you ^_^
